Having undertaken significant refurbishment over the last number of years, we are delighted to now offer some of Offaly’s most luxurious rooms and suites, here at the County Arms in Birr.
All 70 rooms at the County Arms are filled with Rituals products, a Nespresso Coffee Machine, and a mini bar for you to keep your drinks and snacks chilled. We have Smart TVs with a choice of channels, as well as access to your own streaming accounts. All guests are encouraged to bring their keep cups and bottles and fill up on still or sparkling water at our Hydration Stations, which can be found on each floor.
Classic Rooms and Classic Family Rooms are perfect for a great night’s sleep, packed with all the amenities you need for a home from home stay.
Accessible Rooms feature all the amenities of Deluxe Rooms with the addition of a roll in shower and bathroom grab rails.
Deluxe King Rooms are beautiful new contemporary luxury spaces, with gorgeous lighting, huge mirrors, and sparkling new bathrooms. Our Deluxe King with Terrace offers a lovely outdoor space, with table and chairs for taking in the fresh Birr air!
Superior Rooms are stunningly refurbished, contemporary, and luxurious, with the added extra of gorgeous views over our gardens.
Family Suites are plenty of fun for grown ups and kids alike! Adults can relax while small ones enjoy triple bunks and their own space within the suite, climb into the County Arms magic teepee and enjoy books, puzzles, arts and crafts and plenty of bubbles for a bedtime bath.
Executive Rooms are one of a kind! Both The Nest and The Aviary are spacious havens, each with their own luxurious unique personality, and all stocked with added extras such as complimentary premium minerals and County Arms Treat Boxes for you to enjoy.
Georgian Suites are rich in heritage and history, with a separate living room where you can entertain visitors without having to share your bedroom! With vintage furnishing, rich fabrics and King Size sleigh and four poster beds, step back in time for a special stay at the County Arms.
