Whether you are returning home to Ireland to get married, or you’ve chosen Ireland as your dream wedding location, we are hugely experienced in virtual wedding planning. We have worked with couples from across Europe, Australia, and the USA to plan their heritage wedding in the historic town of Birr, in Co. Offaly, the heartlands of our beautiful country.
Couples living abroad who are considering the County Arms for their wedding celebrations meet virtually with our award-winning Wedding Team, who will take you both on a virtual tour of the County Arms, showcasing all the spaces within the hotel and on our grounds where both ceremony and celebration can be hosted.
We will also walk you through our accommodation offering including our two beautiful heritage Georgian Bridal Suites, our newly created suites, The Aviary and The Nest, and several of our recently renovated contemporary guest bedrooms.
We’ll discuss menus, décor and dressing and we’ll share our little black book of trusted local suppliers, everything from florists and car hire to photographers, videographers, hair and make-up artists, all you need to create your dream heritage wedding in Ireland’s heartlands. We will liaise with suppliers on your behalf and ensure that your wishes are met.
The one thing you can’t do virtually is taste the food, so we are delighted to welcome your nominated friend or family member to take your place at the County Arms for a video menu tasting with you! Our Head Chef will work with you virtually to create a beautiful menu of fresh, local, seasonal produce.
At the County Arms we are immensely proud to offer a premium personal service to our wedding couples from abroad. With our many years of experience, we can guide you through Ireland’s legal requirements for marriage. We’ll be in constant contact through Zoom and Skype calls, if you like we will set up a WhatsApp or Viber group with you, and you will receive regular email updates, and quick responses to all questions and queries.
