Accessibility at the County Arms
As well as offering five fully wheelchair accessible rooms on the Ground Floor, complete with walk-in wet rooms, all our rooms are easily accessible by lift on every floor. All spaces at Ground Floor level are accessible and there are reserved parking spaces close to the entrance for anyone who needs them.
Hackett’s Eatery, Bar 62, the Orchard, and Garden rooms are also welcoming to guests of all mobility ability, as is our swimming pool. Just chat with the team at reception and we will do everything we can to ensure your access and comfort at every stage of your stay.
Accessibility in Birr
As well as popular tourist sites like Birr Castle and Birr Theatre & Arts Centre, you will find plenty of accessible places to eat, drink and shop around the welcoming town of Birr. However, some buildings are protected heritage structures and can be more difficult to access. It is always best to check beforehand and we are very happy to do this on your behalf. Ask at reception for further details or directions and we will be delighted to help with information and bookings.
